Lahore, 1st July: Members of the National Security Committee arrive at the National Assembly Hall with Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa who also arrived to attend the meeting.
An in-camera meeting of the Parliamentary Committee on National Security is underway under the chairmanship of Speaker Asad Qaiser.
According to details, Pervez Khattak, Babar Awan, Moeed Yousaf and Federal Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid have also arrived.
PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Raza Rabbani and Chief Minister Sindh have also arrived at the National Assembly Hall.
DG ISI Lieutenant General Faiz Hameed has reached Parliament House where he will brief the meeting on the internal situation of the country as well as the situation in Afghanistan, India and Occupied Kashmir.
Due to the meeting of the National Security Committee, the employees of the National Assembly and Senate Secretariat were given leave while the journalists were barred from entering the Parliament House.
Before attending the meeting, PPP chairman Bilawal Zardari was asked if there would be a decision on giving bases to America. On which Bilawal remained silent.

Later a journalist asked him about PPP Chairman’s input in the National Security Committee? To which Bilawal replied that he would listen to them first and then decide.
