According to a report by Baaghi TV, Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa has visited Qatar.
Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa has called on Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani in which issues of mutual interest, defense and security cooperation were discussed.
According to ISPR, Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa arrived in Qatar on a two-day visit where he witnessed the passing out parade at Ahmed Bin Muhammad Military College and appreciated the quality of training imparted to the cadets in tackling the challenges of war. The Army Chief also called on Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Lieutenant General (Pilot) Ghanim bin Shaheen.
During the meeting with the Chief of Staff of the Qatar Armed Forces, issues of mutual interest, defense and security cooperation were discussed. The Qatari leadership reiterated that there is a brotherly relationship between Pakistan and Qatar of strategic value. Expressing satisfaction at the level of defense relations between the two armed forces, the two sides stressed the importance of further enhancing cooperation.
