Islamabad, 29th October: Pakistan Army spokesperson has said that there is anger in Pakistan’s armed forces but we are silent on political statements for the sake of the country.
According to Baaghi TV, Pakistan Army spokesman DG ISPR Major General Babar Iftikhar while talking to reporters after the press conference said that the recent statements have angered the Pakistan Army.
Major General Babar Iftikhar said that we are silent on political statements for the sake of Pakistan, what I said at the meetings of Muhammad Zubair is true, the army is keeping itself away from political affairs.
Earlier in a press conference, DG ISPR Major General Babar Iftikhar further said that this statement was being used by India to reduce its defeat. After the Pulwama incident, on February 26, 2019, India violated international law.
Vigilant and timely response thwarted the enemy’s intentions. Pakistan Army decided to teach the enemy a lesson. In this decision, all the civil and military leadership of Pakistan were united.
It should be noted that Pak Army is being criticized in the PDM meetings recently.
