RAWALPINDI: The illegitimate son of a mother who was brutally tortured has been caught by the law, accused Arsalan also confessed to his crime.
Rawalpindi-based Superintendent of Police (SP) Atif Nazir confirmed that the brutal son who had abused his mother had been arrested and transferred to Sadiqabad police station.
On the other hand, the Rawalpindi police, while releasing the video of the confessional statement of the accused on the social networking website, wrote that “Arsalan, the disobedient son who tortured the elderly mother, was interrogated after getting interim bail.”
In the video, it can be seen that accused Arsalan is expressing embarrassment over his unbearable act and is also apologizing to mothers all over the world.

According to SP Rawalpindi, the case will be settled on merit, a police spokesman said that Rawalpindi police would ensure merit and justice in all cases and the accused would be given a chance to clear his side.
According to reports, the daughter-in-law and Arsalan’s wife, who tortured her mother-in-law, have obtained interim bail from the court. The court has ordered not to arrest the accused till August 6th, the court directed the accused to cooperate with the police in the investigation.
On the other hand, SP Rawalpindi, SDPO Newtown visited the victim and inquired about the well-being of Gulnaz Bibi. SP Rawalpindi also informed Gulnaz Bibi about the police investigation.
SP told Gulnaz Bibi about the interrogation after Arsalan’s bail. In addition, CPO Rawalpindi Muhammad Ahsan Younis contacted senior woman Gulnaz Bibi on telephone and inquired about her well-being and assured her of an inquiry into the merits.
The CPO assured Gulnaz Bibi that I am personally taking the case report from time to time, you will be given justice.
Punjab Information Minister Fayyaz-ul-Hassan Chauhan took notice of the incident on the directive of the Chief Minister and directed to arrest the person who tortured the mother and take strict action. The provincial minister said that he was in touch with CPO Rawalpindi and the concerned SHO and soon the accused would be behind bars.
Earlier, the victim’s mother, who was tortured by her heartless son, said that Arsalan tortured her at his wife’s request and threw her out of the house.
She said a case had been registered against his son and daughter-in-law but police had not yet taken him into custody.
The aggrieved mother said that her son had tortured her before for domestic disputes and non-sharing of property. At the request of her daughter-in-law, Arsalan did not listen to her on the basis of domestic issues and he continued to use violence indiscriminately.
It is believed that Arsalan along with his wife had tortured his mother, the video of which went viral on social media. Police said that the victim said that her son and daughter-in-law used to quarrel every day and then the son and daughter-in-law together tortured her.
The mother had registered a case against the accused Arsalan and his wife in Sadiqabad police station after which the accused fled with his wife.
Taking notice of the incident, Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Bazdar sought a report from RPO Rawalpindi and directed immediate arrest of the accused.
Usman Bazdar said that it was necessary to arrest the son who was abusing a great personality like his mother and bring him to justice as soon as possible.
