As Taliban take over Kabul, speculation rises over release of TTP leader Maulvi Faqir Muhammad

It is being said on social media that the Taliban have released former deputy chief of the banned TTP, Maulvi Faqir Mahmood Bajauri, along with his associates.
The news is being spread as anti-Taliban propaganda that the leader of the TTP, which is involved in terrorism in Pakistan, has been released by the Taliban, despite the fact that the Afghan government arrested Maulvi Faqir Mohammad in April this year.
Bajauri has been released, according to a report by Voice of America. Maulvi Faqir Mohammad was released from Kabul jail after eight years. The Afghan government released Maulvi Faqir Mohammad along with three others on April 15 this year.
After the transfer to Afghanistan, Maulvi Faqir Mohammad had changed a lot and he spoke of focusing on the negotiation process instead of the military operations of the banned extremist organization Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP).
The banned TTP also removed Maulvi Faqir Mohammad from office. Ehsanullah Ehsan had stated that the reason for his removal at that time was internal talks with the government.
It is to be noted that the Taliban reached Kabul yesterday after which Afghan President Ashraf Ghani fled the country. The Taliban is in control of Kabul and other important government buildings have also been taken over by the Afghan Taliban. And the Afghan Taliban are patrolling the streets and instructing people to cooperate with each other
