LONDON: England have scored 313 runs with 8 wickets down at the end of 3rd day of ashes final.
According to details England have ended Day 3 of the 5th Ashes Test at 313 with 8 wickets down, building on their first innings lead to be ahead of Australia by 382 runs. Ben Stokes 67 and Joe Denly 94 batted England into a potentially match winning position on Day 3, before Jos Buttler 47 batted with the lower order to take England’s lead close to 400.
Steve Smith dropped Stokes on seven, a sharp chance off Nathan Lyon that flew to him at slip, while Denly and Buttler should have been given out lbw on 54 and 19, respectively but Australia, as they’ve made a habit through the series, poorly used their reviews and failed to refer either decision.
