Lahore: Anti-Smuggling Organization Lahore seized a huge quantity of smuggled / non-duty paid goods and vehicles during July, 2021 worth Rs.452.78 million.
The Anti-Smuggling Organization of Collectorate of Customs Enforcement, Lahore on the directions of Mr. Basit Maqsood Abbasi, Collector of Customs Enforcement, Lahore headed by Mr. Muteen Alam, Additional Collector, Mr. Faizan Badar, Deputy Collector, Ms. Sidra Naz, Assistant Collector, and team consisting of Mr. Muhammad Yaqoob Ch. Superintendent, and Mr. Shahid Bakhtair Bhatti, M Asghar Purewal, M Saleem Khan, Hassan Mahmood, Mansoor Elahi, Abdul Ghaffar, Javaid Iqbal Butt, Inspectors seized a huge quantity of smuggled / non-duty paid goods and vehicles during July, 2021 worth Rs.452.78 million. Goods include Cloth, Tyres, Cigarettes, Crockery, Dry Fruits and vehicles. Cases of valuing Rs. 336.4 Million were made during the corresponding period of last year (July-2020). An increase of 34.6% excess is as compared with the corresponding period of last year.
