An Anti-Terrorism Court in Faisalabad on Monday handed down ten-year imprisonment each to 59 PTI leaders and workers in the case related to attack on PML-N leader Rana Sanaullah’s house during the May 9 incidents.
The judge of the Court Javed Iqbal Sheikh announced the verdict. The convicted PTI leaders include Syed Shibli Faraz, Omer Ayub and Zartaj Gul. The court sentenced three years imprisonment each to sixteen other leaders and supporters.
The ATC acquitted thirty-four other PTI leaders and workers including Fawad Chaudhry and Zain Qureshi in the case.
