Consulate General of Pakistan, Los Angeles hosted a Webinar on ‘Human Rights Crisis in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu & Kashmir’, on 6 August 2020. Sardar Masood Khan, President of Azad Jammu & Kashmir, briefed the audience about the historical background of the Kashmir dispute. Congressman TJ Cox, said that violation of human rights anywhere in the world is a source of concern for him and people of United States and so is the situation of Human Rights in Indian Occupied Jammu & Kashmir, where human rights of residents are being violated on routine basis. Mr. Tony Rivero, Member, Arizona House of Representatives and Chairman, Arizona House of Representative Committee on State and International Affairs, expressed concerns about human rights violations in Indian Occupied Jammu & Kashmir. Ms. Victoria Schofield, British Journalist and Historian, stated that Human Rights situation in Indian Occupied Kashmir is a source of concern for the whole world and Kashmir dispute is a threat to peace of the world as both India and Pakistan are nuclear powers.
