Aurat March posters that went viral today
Lahore, 8th March: The Aurat March on the International Women day highlights women’s issues and speaks out against injustices of society.
Baaghi TV: According to reports, Aurat March is becoming widely known for its banners and placards highlighting women’s rights.
Since 2018, when the first Aurat March started in Karachi, banners and placards became popular on social media.
However, Aurat March this year highlighted women empowerment and fight against the patriarchy. Following banners became viral on social media today:
One of the placard used a famous line by the Indian actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui from his movie ‘Gangs of Wasseypur’ that spoke about misogyny.

A woman held up a placard that read ‘I just got back from work. Can you pass me a glass of water?’
Someone pointed out towards the workplace harassment issue that needs to be stopped immediately.

The best so far have been the one shared by some men, who participated in the Aurat March sharing that ‘Men of quality don’t fear equality.’
