Lahore, 8th March: International Women’s Day is being celebrated all over the world including Pakistan. The aim is to pay tribute to the social, political and economic struggles of women around the globe. Baaghi TV: According to reports, events in this regard are also been held across Pakistan. Walks, seminars and discussions are being organized by civil society organizations to highlight the issues and challenges facing women. As per reports, the first Aurat March was held in Karachi in 2018. Next year, Aurat March was being held in more cities, including Lahore, Multan, Faisalabad, Larkana, and Hyderabad. This year too, the marches will be held in Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, and other cities of Pakistan. Today’s Aurat March in Karachi will take place at Frere Hall. The organisers have emphasised to follow the standard operating procedures (SOPs), including wearing masks and maintaining a social distance of six feet. As per reports, the Karachi march will be broadcast live.
