Babar Azam in ‘Angry’ mode, fumes at Durdanto Dhaka’s wicketkeeper

In a rare act of agression and anger , Pakistan star batter Babar Azam was seen angry and fuming at Durdanto Dhaka’s wicketkeeper during Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) 2024 for Rangpur Riders.

Babar Azam has been in brilliant form in T20 and scored 46-ball 62 against Durdanto Dhaka, guiding his team to a total of 183/8.

In reply, Durdanto Dhaka got dismissed for 104 runs before the completion of the 17th over.

Meanwhile, fans witnessed the more heated side of Babar when he got involved in a heated argument with Durdanto Dhaka’s wicketkeeper, Irfan Sukkur, during the Riders’ innings. The incident occurred in the 13th over.

Despite attempts by the umpire and Dhaka’s captain Mosaddek Hossain to diffuse the situation, Babar remained visibly upset, refusing to let go of the on-field spat.

It was Babar’s second fifty of the competition. In his first BPL game, Babar played a crucial role, staying unbeaten with a well-executed 56 runs from 49 deliveries, featuring six boundaries, at a striking rate of 114.28.
