WORLD RECORD: Babar Azam becomes quickest batsman to reach 7,000 T20 runs

Pakistan’s Babar Azam becomes quickest batsman to reach 7,000 T20 runs. He reached the 7,000 T20 runs mark in 187 innings, surpassing Chris Gayle who did it in 192 innings. 

26 years old Babar Azam is a Pakistani international cricketer who captains Pakistan in all formats. A right-handed top-order batsman, Azam is widely regarded as one of the best contemporary batsmen in the world. 

He is highly regarded as one of the best batsmen in world cricket, he left behind the big names of the T20 format. Chris Galye completed 7000 runs in his 192 innings, however, Virat Kohli did it in 212th innings.
