Lahore, 14th September: Educational institutions across Pakistan are being opened in phases from tomorrow.

According to the report of Baaghi TV, schools across the country will reopen from 15th of September.

The government has urged the public to take precautionary measures amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

COVID-19: NCOC focused on testing across schools and tourist destinations

Prime Minister Imran Khan took to his Twitter account to convey his message:

He wrote, “Tomorrow we will welcome millions of children back to school. It is our priority & collective responsibility to ensure that every child can go to school safely to learn. We have worked to ensure that school operations are aligned with public health safety rules on #COVID19.”

Parents and teachers are requested to pay special attention to the following issues while sending their children to school:

  • Send children to school wearing masks, even if it is a cloth mask.
  • Never send children to school if they show signs of cough or illness. If the condition is worse, the child should be tested immediately. The school should be informed in case of positive.
  • Maintain social distance between children.
  • Make sure children wash their hands regularly or use a hand sanitizer.
  • Drivers who take children to school or college should ensure social distance in their vehicles. Make sure the children are wearing face masks while sitting in the car.
