Balochistan government: Security measures against coronavirus
Lahore, 24th Feb, 2020: According to the reports of Baaghi TV, spokesperson of the Balochistan government Liaquat Shahwani has said that if the person is suspected of coronavirus, he will be treated in the isolation ward.
So far, coronavirus tests have come back negative from the Balochistan Province.
On the other hand, 77,150 cases of corona virus have been confirmed in China. So far, 409 new cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in 24 hours in China, the number of death toll has reached up to 2,592 outside China.
The Interior Minister said that the outbreak of the probable coronavirus in Iran is an unfortunate and disturbing matter, because the borders of Pakistan and Iran are interconnected and there is a lot of transportation between these two countries. The PDMA and related organizations must work together in a spirit of solidarity to control the spread.
He said that it was a matter of concern that the virus should not spread to the countries where the health sector is weaker. Regular declaration of emergency means that the provincial government should spread more information to the public against the virus. Provincial government will take further steps to prevent its outbreak.
Balochistan government has imposed emergency in border districts linked to Iran after deadly coronavirus killed few in Iran recently.
