#BanHumStyleAwards Takes Internet By Storm, Becomes Top Trend on Social Media

Pakistani actresses at the recent Hum Style Awards have caused quite a stir on social media. It has come under fire for the choice of Western-style clothing by our actresses.

Two days ago, a style awards ceremony of a private TV channel was organized in Lahore in which artists belonging to Pakistani Showbiz industry participated.

However, while there were gossips on performances and styling of artists at the awards show, the short dresses of the actresses caught the attention of the people.

At the awards show, actresses Aliza Shah, Sonia Hussain, Maya Ali, Ayesha Umar, Aima Baig, model Fehmeen Ansari, Mashal Khan and Amar Khan, among others, were severely criticized on social media for their western dresses showing skin.

Actress Alize Shah has been in news past few weeks. First her boy cut hairstyles to her western style dressing followed by a glamourous music video and her singing debut has been trending on Twitter for sometime now. While they were still ablaze, she is yet again trending on twitter with her dressing on award show.

People are not only criticizing the award show theme criteria, but are also sharing hilarious memes on social media.

The actresses were severely criticized not only by the people but also by fellow artists.
