Battle of wits: Veena Malik vs Hamid Mir
Pakistan showbiz industry’s leading actress Veena Malik has reportedly criticized the renowned anchorperson Hamid Mir on a social media website.
According to reports of Baaghi TV, Veena Malik is at a verbal brawl with Pakistan’s senior anchor Hamid Mir, which can be witnessed on the Twitter handle, where the actress has strongly criticised the anchor and his journalism.
Journalist Malik Ramzan Isra tweeted on social networking site Twitter yesterday that Mir Shakeel was arrested by the NAB in a baseless case. The fire of jealousy was so great that he was not allowed to meet his elder brother who was bed-ridden at that time.

He wrote while tagging Hamid Mir that a campaign was raised against him too because being a journalist he raised the rightful issue against the system. In our country, a true journalist is not respected and it is considered a crime to raise issues in favour of the people.
Reacting to this tweet by journalist Malik Ramzan, Hamid Mir thanked him and wrote that one thing should be kept in mind that powerful people have to use low character women to tarnish our image, but the public is fully aware of such traitors.

On this tweet by Hamid Mir, Veena Malik took him to the task and wrote: “When there is no argument, become a pimp. This is their journalism.”
Veena Malik pointed out that a man who has no proper argument is only capable of mud-slinging on women’s character. She asked if she was not wrong then he was the one who said that “my daughter’s body is hers.”

Twitter users also criticized Hamid Mir for his tweet and condemned him for the character assassination of women.
