Beirut Blast: More than sixty lives lost, thousands injured

BEIRUT: A bomb blast near the Lebanese capital, Beirut, killed more than sixty people and injured more than 3,000 others, based on reports. According to Baaghi TV reports, Aya Majzoub who is a Lebanon and Bahrain Researcher at Human Rights Watch, took to Twitter to share an update of the horrific tragedy. Majzoub wrote, “63 killed and 3000 injured in #BeirutExplosion so far.” According to eyewitnesses, the blasts took place in an ammunition depot located in the port area, 20 kilometers north of Beirut.
