People talk about her gender, her struggle, her incarceration and her fight against Zia and fascism etc. All laudable! They talk about her charm, her charisma, her social graces etc. etc. Sure

But in the final analysis, like her husband, she was nothing more than a petty corrupt thief and criminal who betrayed the Nation’s trust, especially of the poor!

She knowingly and willingly looted the exchequer along with her husband, and bears responsibility for every death in a house because of absence of health care because of what she stole, every child who couldn’t go to school because of what she stole, every village that didn’t have clean drinking water because of what she stole, every good thing that the money she stole could have been put to better use!

This is as true of her as it is of Nawaz Sharif, Shahbaz Sharif, Maryam Safdar, Hamza Shahbaz, Ishaq Dar, Asif Zardari, Faryal Talpur, Bilawal Zardari, Fazlur Rehman and all those who have looted and plundered this poor country!

Shame on them, on their names, on their families and on their legacy!
