According to reports, US President Biden announced the complete withdrawal of US forces from Afghanistan to begin on May 1st.

US President Joe Biden, announcing the withdrawal of US troops from Afghanistan, said it was time to end America’s longest-running war and withdraw US troops from Afghanistan.

The president announced that the withdrawal of US forces would begin on May 1 and would be completed on September 20, 20 years after the attack on the World Trade Center. There are more than 2,500 US troops in Afghanistan.

“We support the Afghan peace talks. The role of Pakistan, Russia and China in the Afghan peace process is important. Pakistan should take further steps to help Afghanistan,” Biden said.

It should be noted that according to the US-Taliban agreement, US forces were to withdraw from Afghanistan by May, but the withdrawal of US forces is being delayed for four months.

Remember that Pakistan is also very cautious about this sudden decision of the United States and is fully aware of all the developments in the region.
