Pakistani singer Bilal Saeed, breaks silence over issue of video recording at Wazir Khan Mosque, makes an important announcement.

According to the reports of Baaghi TV, pertaining to the video recording of the song “Qabul Hai” in Wazir Khan Mosque, singer Bilal Saeed has issued a public apology and announced that the controversial scene shot at the Wazir Khan mosque will not be included in the video.

Bilal Saeed said that he is a Muslim and can never think of desecrating the mosque. I swear that I did not play music in the mosque. I composed my own song which included marriage scenes but it became an issue due to misunderstanding. I am a Muslim and thank Allah, I apologize to the whole nation for being a Muslim.

Bilal Saeed further said that we realize that what has happened in the last few days has deeply hurt your feelings. We, as Muslims, as civilized people and as artists, will never insult or disgrace Islam or any other religion, race, caste, color or creed.

It may be mentioned that the Punjab Endowment Department has suspended Ishtiaq Ahmed, the manager of the historic mosque of Wazir Khan in Lahore over the issue of the dancing scene between the artists, Saba Qamar Zaman and Bilal Saeed.

Citizens are protesting against the dancing of the artists for the filming of the video at Masjid Wazir Khan and are being subjected to severe criticism on social media. On whose orders was the short film shot in the historic mosque, where was the mosque administration while actress Saba Qamar and Bilal Saeed were dancing in the mosque?

The company that recorded the film at Wazir Khan said that they had sought permission from the endowment department to shoot the short film, which was granted on payment of Rs 30,000, according to reports.

The Punjab Endowment Department took action after the incident and the Endowment Department appointed a Deputy Director Finance to investigate.

It is to be noted that actress Saba Qamar shot a sequence of the music video in Wazir Khan Mosque and violated its sanctity by dancing, after which there was intense anger among the people. The trend on social media against this process also increased the pressure on the government and after that Saba Qamar had to apologize.

Saba Qamar who is currently busy shooting for singer Bilal Saeed’s new song “Qabul Hai”, a scene of which was also taken at Masjid Wazir Khan. Punjab Endowment Secretary Azhar has demanded strict action against Saba Qamar and Bilal Saeed for shooting songs in the mosque.
