Lahore, 7th March: Chairman Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari met with the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Hamza Shehbaz Sharif.

Baaghi TV: According to reports, PPP’s Bilawal Zardari called on the PML-N leader Hamza Shehbaz on Sunday at his residence in Lahore.

This is the first time the two leaders are meeting ever since Hamza’s release from jail.

According to reports, the PPP chairman is accompanied by senior party leaders including former prime minister Yousaf Raza Gillani, his son Ali Haider Gillani, Qamar Zaman Kaira and others.

As per reports from sources, upcoming Senate Chairman and Deputy Chairman elections were discussed in the meeting apart from the in-house change in Punjab and long March.

Sources said that Bilawal Zardari has extended his full support to the PML-N in Punjab.

Hamza Shehbaz, on the other hand, said that the decision of the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) will be accepted about when to present a no-confidence move in Punjab.

According to earlier reports, PDM chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman has called for a meeting of heads of the alliance’s constituent parties on Monday to devise a strategy before Senate elections.
