Feb 13, 2022: According to a report by the Anadolu Agency, a writing that appears to form Bismillah, or In the name of Allah, was found etched on a marble slab found in a marble quarry in Turkey’s Mediterranean province of Antalya.

The discovery was made in the village of Taskesigi village of the Antalya Korkuteli district in the Marble Business Area of the Antalya Marble Industry and Trade Company. The image on the rock caught the miners’ attention as the stone was being mined. While removing the dust from the stone, the workers noticed that the sign was written in Arabic letters “Bismillah”.

The slab was then sent to Suleiman Demirel University in the southwestern Turkish province of Sparta for analysis.

Scientists Fuzuli Yagmurlu, Rasit Altindag and Nazmi Sengun made an interesting discovery in their analysis.

While 195 million-year-old remains have been found in the marble material, the mark is thought to have occurred naturally.

Bioclassic fossils of marine creatures that lived 195 million years ago in the Jurassic dinosaur era have been found on the dolomitic limestone that formed the plate. It was also noted that the remains, which are named after the Jura Mountains in the European Alps, are concentrated in some parts of the plate.

The report states that the figures on the Bismillah plate are entirely “natural” shapes, and that the inscriptions over time resulted in fragments of heart-shaped shellfish fragments being disassembled, altered and sorted.

According to a scientific report by Ahmed Ogke, dean of the Akdeniz University Faculty of Theology, the Arabic figures on marble are the same as those of Bismillah mentioned in the Qur’an.
