According to Baaghi TV reports, BJP leader Yashvant Sinha has demanded the restoration of the special status of occupied Kashmir.

Former Indian minister, former Bharatiya Janata Party leader Yashvant Sinha has demanded restoration of the status of Indian-occupied Jammu and Kashmir before August 5, 2019 and restoration of Articles 370 and 35A of the Indian Constitution, which were repealed by the Indian government last year.

According to South Asian Wire, Yashvant Sinha in his Twitter message welcomed the commitment of political parties in Jammu and Kashmir to restore the status quo of occupied Kashmir before August 5, 2019. He said that he was with the people of Jammu and Kashmir and the special status of Jammu and Kashmir would definitely be restored and Sections 370 and 35A would be made part of the Indian Constitution again.

Yashvant Sinha said that he welcomed the commitment of the political parties of Jammu and Kashmir to restore the former status of occupied Kashmir. According to South Asian Wire, six pro-India political parties in Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday formed an alliance to restore the status quo of occupied Kashmir before August 5, 2019.
