BJP regime trying to give false impression of normalcy in IIOJK: APHC
The All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) has said that Hindutva Indian government and its regime in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir is trying to give a false impression of normalcy in the territory.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the APHC spokesman, Abdul Rashid Minhas, in a statement in Srinagar said India is the biggest violator of international laws in occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
He said India is hiding its crimes against humanity in IIOJK and is trying to distort the truth and twist facts to promote its false narrative on Kashmir. It is crafting false narratives of investment and development to justify its illegal actions of 5th August 2019 in the occupied territory, he added.
The spokesman said India intends to paint the picture that all is well in the occupied territory but the fact is that all is against normal there. Ground situation negates India’s false narrative of return of normalcy in the territory, he said, adding India’s claims of normalcy are nothing but a cruel joke.
The statement said everyday cordon and search operations and arrests expose the Indian claims of normalcy in occupied Jammu and Kashmir. It said the Modi-led fascist Indian regime has snatched every right, including right to life, of the Kashmiris. Indian troops have converted IIOJK into an open jail where basic human rights are abused on a daily basis, it lamented.
Abdul Rashid Minhas said India has a long history of using falsehood as its state policy to hoodwink the world about the real situation in IIOJK and the international community must press India to allow the Kashmiris to decide their future themselves.
He said India is continuously trampling international laws in the occupied territory by using black laws like Public Safety Act and Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA) to arrest and detain the Kashmiris.
He deplored the silence of the world over revocation of the Kashmir’s special status in flagrant violation of international laws, saying Hindutva regime is settling non-Kashmiris in IIOJK against the UN resolutions.
