Heavy contingents of police and rangers rushed to the spot and cordoned off the area while investigators began gathering evidence. According to the Police officials, four gunmen first hurled a grenade at the gate of the stock exchange, then opened fire.
Police sources said that four people were injured in the grenade attack and firing including a policeman, a security guard of the stock exchange and two civilians who were rushed to the hospital for immediate medical treatment. Police sources said that the terrorists Two civilians were also killed in the attack.
