Blast in Iraq targets an American School
Baghdad, 18th September: An American Language Center in Najaf, Baghdad was shaken by a horrific blast.
According to Iraqi sources, an improvised explosive device blew up outside an English-language institute in southern Iraq early Friday without causing any casualties.
Iraqi police said in a statement, amid a recent uptick in attacks targeting the American presence in Iraq.

An IED attack on the American Institute for English Learning in southern Iraq caused major damage without casualties in the early hours on Friday.
Najaf Ashraf police have also confirmed the blast, but police say the blast has caused considerable financial loss.
Al-Akhbar television channel said that a loud explosion was heard in Baghdad, but no further details have been released.
