Lahore, 11th May: A bomb explosion has occurred in Pakistan’s major city and several people are injured.

According to Baaghi TV, an explosion took place in Peshawar, the provincial capital of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, as a result of which 3 people were injured.

According to police, rescue teams reached the spot. According to police, an improvised explosive device (IED) exploded in Ashraf Road area of Peshawar, injuring two traffic officers and a shopkeeper. He was taken to hospital where his condition is out of danger now.

Bomb Disposal Squad team also reached the spot and inspected it. According to the Bomb Disposal Squad, 2 kg of improvised explosive device was used in the blast. The blast was carried out by remote control.

After the blast, security forces cordoned off the area, tightened security in the area. A heavy contingent of police was deployed at the spot.
