KABUL: A suicide bomb exploded in Afghan capital Kabul leaving at least 10 people killed.

According to reports a suicide bomb exploded in Afghan capital Kabul killing at least 10 people. Spokesman for Interior Ministry of Afghanistan Nasrat Rahimi said that the blast happened on main road near Abdulhaq square. The blast was triggered by explosive-laden Townace van, he said. At least 10 civilians were killed while 42 others were wounded in the bombing. Twelve civilian vehicles were damaged, he said.

On the other hand, Taliban claimed responsibility for the attack, saying the target was foreign forces’ convoy entering a facility of Afghan intelligence agency. The attack comes three days after a Taliban tractor bomb near Green Village, an international compound in Kabul, killed 16 and wounded 119.
