US President Donald Trump a telephonic conversation with Prime Minister Imran Khan and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the situation in Indian occupied Kashmir (IoK).

In his message on Twitter, US President Donald Trump said that he had discussed the issue of trade, strategic partnership and Kashmir with his two good friends, the Prime Minister of Pakistan and Indian Prime Minister Modi.

Earlier on Monday night, during a press conference, Pakistani Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi had informed the media that Prime Minister Imran Khan had a telephonic conversation with the US President Donald Trump today in which the Prime Minister of Pakistan discussed the position of Pakistan related to Kashmir in detail.

Shah Mehmood said that, in his conversation, the US President Donald Trump mentioned the telephonic conversation with the Indian Prime Minister and said that he welcomed Narendra Modi to reduce tensions in the region and to bring peace.

According to the Foreign Minister, Prime Minister said that the steps of August 5 created a serious situation in the region. The Indian step was to change the population proportionally in Kashmir.

It is also worth mentioning here that the most powerful president of the most powerful country in the world, Donald Trump, has on numerous occasions, offered to play the role of a mediator in resolving the Kashmir dispute between India and Pakistan, which has received severe criticism from the Indian government.
