Lahore, 12th October: Abid Malhi, the main accused in the motorway rape case, has been arrested. Baaghi TV: Special Assistant to the Prime Minister Shahbaz Gul has confirmed the news that the accused Abid Mlahi has been caught by the police. As reported earlier by Baaghi TV, a woman was gang-raped near Sialkot Motorway in Gujjarpura area on the outskirts of Lahore during the second week of September. After which the news spread like wildfire all over the country. Out of two main accused, Shafqat had been caught and is currently in jail but Abid Malhi escaped. The Punjab Chief Minister and IG Punjab had said during a press conference that the accused has been identified. The accused had fled to other places including Sheikhupura and Nankana Sahib. Abid Malhi, the main accused in the motorway abuse case from Faisalabad, has now been arrested. He will be punished according to the law.
