Lahore, 22nd March, 4:15, PM: The government of Pakistan has approved the price of the Russian vaccine Sputnik V.

According to reports of Baaghi TV, the Cabinet of the Government of Pakistan on Monday approved the commercial import and price of the Russian vaccine Sputnik V in Pakistan.

As per reports, the price of Russian vaccine has been fixed at Rs 8,500. Pakistan is the first country in the world to allow the private sector to import vaccines.

To date, the government of Pakistan has not allocated a single rupee for the corona vaccine. First, China donated 500,000 vaccines. The World Health Organization is also providing 500,000 free vaccines.

According to reports, the Pakistani government has now allowed Prime Minister’s Special Assistant Shahbaz Gil’s company to order Russian vaccines and has already put a profit of Rs 7,000 on each vaccine that will go into the pocket of its government minister.

This can be easily termed as legal corruption and technical robbery.

As per sources, Shahbaz Gil’s company is importing Sputnik V for only $10 per dose, which is PKR 1,550.

However, the same 1,550 vaccines will now be sold at 8,500 with the permission of the government.

As per reports, Shahbaz Gil’s company has ordered 200,000 vaccines in the first consignment, keeping a net profit of Rs 1.40 billion in one consignment and that too with the permission of the government.

It is pertinent to mention here that a meeting of the DRAP’s processing board was held on March 19 in which it was recommended to fix the cost of two doses of the Sputnik V vaccine between Rs 8,200 to Rs 9,000.
