British Airways to launch air operations for Lahore: Sources

ISLAMABAD, Jan 29 (APP): Director Safety and Security British Airways (BA) John Monks Wednesday called on Secretary Aviation Hassan Nasir Jami and discussed professional matters relating to the airline operations.

BA’s International Risk Advisor David Craig also attended the meeting, an Aviation Division press release said.

The officials held a meeting with the Secretary Aviation “to review the BA operations, largely from the security perspective six months after the inaugural flight.”

The secretary said Aviation Division was encouraged by the British Airways decision to resume flight operations.

Recently, the United Kingdom has also softened travel advisory for Pakistan due to security improvements in Pakistan, which would help boost tourism activities there.
