British Airways resumes flights operations in Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: British Airways (BA) on Friday (today) resumes its flight operations in Pakistan as flight number BA-261 reached Islamabad from London. According to the details, special arrangements were madeĀ for the arrival of British Airways at Islamabad Airport, however, British embassy officials have termed the arrangements at the airport as satisfactory. More than 100 passengers arrived at Islamabad Airport via British Airways. Passengers were subjected to health counter screening and medical examination. British embassy staff were also present. It may be recalled that British Airways had announced the resumption of flights from London to Pakistan. There will be 3 flights a week between Islamabad and London, however passengers will have to follow the SOPs. According to sources, passengers will have to wear masks while traveling to London. The British High Commissioner said that resumption of flight operations was an example of strong ties between the two countries.
