British Chief of Defense Staff meets with COAS General Qamar Bajwa

Lahore, 10th May: British Chief of Defence Staff meets with Pakistan Chief of Army Staff (COAS).
Baaghi TV reports that the British Chief of Defense Staff, General Sir Nicholas Patrick Carter met with Pakistan Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa on Monday.
According to the DG ISPR, issues of mutual interest, the regional security situation, especially the current progress in the Afghan peace process, and steps to further enhance bilateral and defense cooperation were discussed during the meeting.
According to DG ISPR, Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa expressed sorrow over the demise of Prince Philip and said that the world has lost a highly respected friend.

According to DG ISPR, the distinguished guests praised Pakistan’s sincere efforts for peace and stability in the region, especially the Afghan peace process.
COAS thanked the dignitaries for the UK’s involvement in the fight against COVID-19 in Pakistan and said that the Pakistan Army valued its friendly relations with the UK.
