Broadsheet Commission makes a strong recommendation regarding Asif Zardari

Lahore, 22nd March, 3:30, PM: The Broadsheet inquiry commission has recommended revealing the record of the Swiss case of the former president Asif Ali Zardari.
Baaghi TV: According to reports, the committee in its report has disclosed that the records of the Swiss case are kept in the record room of the National Accountability Bureau (NAB).
Hence, the inquiry commission has ordered to de-seal the record of the cases.
The Broadsheet Committee has recommended that the record should be reviewed as to what has to be done with it.
According to ARY News, earlier in the day, the inquiry report of the Broadsheet scandal was received in the Prime Minister’s (PM) House.
After the revelations made by the Broadsheet LLC chief Kaveh Mousavi, the federal government had appointed Justice (retired) Azmat Saeed Shaikh to head the inquiry committee.
Sources also revealed that the inquiry report was received by Joint Secretary Zahid Maqsood, which consists of 500 pages. Overall the committee has recorded statements of 26 witnesses in the scandal.
It is to be noted that the UK-based firm Broadsheet LLC had been hired by General Pervez Musharraf’s government in 2000 to recover assets concealed by previous Pakistani rulers abroad.
