According to the report of Baaghi TV, the 30th meeting of the provincial cabinet was held under the chairmanship of Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar. The meeting approved the budget proposals for the new financial year 2020-21. The cabinet meeting will unanimously approve the budget proposals of Punjab province for the new financial year 2020-21. The financial bill 2020 was also approved. The supplementary budget for the financial year 2019-20 was approved in the meeting. Revised budget estimates were also approved. The ban on using the development funds of South Punjab for any other project or city will remain in place. The Cabinet also approved coring fencing of development funds of all the three divisions of South Punjab in the new financial year. Chief Minister Usman Buzdar paid homage to the performance of Provincial Finance Minister Hashim Javan Bakht, Advisor Dr. Salman Shah, Chief Secretary, Chairman Planning and Development, Secretary Finance and officers of relevant departments in preparing the budget for the new financial year.
