Indian fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah has been ruled out of test series due to injury against South Africa.
According to details, injured Jasprit Bumrah has ruled out from test squad due to injury. Bumrah has sustained a minor stress fracture in his lower back. Umesh Yadav will replace Jasprit Bumrah in the upcoming home test series against South Africa starting from 2nd of October. Cricket analysts has stated that this is a major setback for India as Bumrah was in phenomenal form. He had picked up 13 wickets in two test matches against West Indies, which included a hat-trick.
Indian test squad against South Africa includes Virat Kohli (Captain), Ajinkya Rahane (vice-captain), Rohit Sharma, Cheteshwar Pujara, Mayank Agarwal, Rishabh Pant (Wicket-keeper), Hanuma Vihari, Wriddhiman Saha (Wicket-keeper), Ravichandran Ashwin, Ravindra Jadeja, Kuldeep Yadav, Mohammed Shami, Umesh Yadav, Ishant Sharma and Shubman Gill.
Reportedly, India will take on South Africa in three test match home series starting from October 2.
