MULTAN, Dec 17 (APP): District Administration has ordered all bus companies operating from Multan to other cities to get their license renewed.
The companies not yet renewed their license include Daewoo and others so far. These companies would be served notices and no company would be allowed to ply buses without permitted capacity.
Deputy Commissioner, Aamir Khattak issued these orders while chairing the meeting of the district transport authority here on Thursday. He stated that action would be initiated against owners of all illegal bus and van terminals adding that the administration would get cases registered against all illegal terminals.
He directed to issue notices to AL Shahbaz, Shamilar and AL Abbas Vagon stands for shifting from Dera Adda to general bus stand(GBS).
The meeting also decided to increase revenue from GBS besides reviewing rents of the shops over there.
Secretary ATRT, Abdul Ghaffar , ADC HQ, Rana Ikhlaq Ahmad, CTO Zaffar Buzdar, CSO, Shabana Saif, Superintendent GBS, Mazhar Khan and Legal Advisor, Muhammad Shah attended the meeting.
