Lahore, 29th December: Despite the uncertainty caused by the global epidemic, the pace of introducing new 5G functionality in 2020 has increased in both network and device domains. According to reports from Jung News, 220 million 5G subscriptions globally are forecasted by the end of 2020, with China accounting for 175 million or about 80%. As per reports, Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) is now offered by about two-thirds of the world’s facilitators. FWA connections are projected to more than triple, reaching more than 180 million by the end of 2026, and account for a quarter of all mobile network data traffic. Mobile data traffic is currently estimated to account for more than 50%. Ericsson (Nasdaq: ERIC) predicts that by 2026, four out of ten subscriptions will be 5G. This forecast is included in the latest issue of the Ericsson Mobility Report. This current 5G subscription and population coverage confirm that mobile connectivity is the fastest deployment in any era.
