Cafe Aylanto caught openly violating government policy

Lahore, 15th March: In the wake of the increasing number of coronavirus cases in Punjab, a restaurant has been reported of violating the SOPs ordered by the government.

According to the report of Baaghi TV, a famous restaurant in the Defence Housing Society of Lahore has been reported not following the restrictions imposed by the Punjab Government.

According to reports received, Cafe Aylanto situated in Z Block of DHA, Lahore, is opened today despite the government warning that all restaurants and cafes should be closed amidst the rise in coronavirus cases.

As per reports, a journalist cum blogger has reported on her Twitter account that Cafe Aylanto in Z Block, DHA is openly violating the government’s order and is fully catering to its customers.

Tagging the CCPO and SP Lahore, along with the Human Rights Minister Shireen Mazari, Syeda Yasmeen wrote, “Why is Aylanto Cafe Z Block open today in violation of government policy in DHA Lahore?”

It is to be noted that the Punjab government has imposed a smart lockdown in the affected areas of Punjab where the positivity rate is very high.

Authorities in Punjab have issued orders to shut down indoor and outdoor dining in the restaurants after many cases of the UK-variant has been reported from Lahore.

As per reports, authorities are also cracking down on the wedding halls and restaurants that are not following the government’s orders.
