Lahore, 23rd April: Courts in Pakistan have dismissed students’ petition seeking a switch to school assessed grades for Cambridge CAIE exams this year. According to reports, the High Courts of Peshawar, Lahore, Islamabad and Sindh on Friday dismissed the petitions filed by the students against the government’s decision to hold physical CAIE exams in Pakistan. Earlier in the day, Islamabad High Court disregarded the students’ plea and advised them to take their case before the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC). Sindh High Court too dismissed the plea and announced its verdict around 4 pm.
