The Canadian Prime Minister (PM) Justin Trudeau announced the lifting of travel restrictions on Thursday, saying that passengers will be allowed to enter from the month of September.
According to the details, PM Trudeau said only passengers who had received both doses of the corona vaccine would be allowed entry. At the same time, he explained that if the vaccination and public health situation remained the same, we would lift the ban, otherwise the decision would be reversed.
The Canadian premier also informed his party’s provincial leaders of the decision to lift the ban on foreign travellers.

Justin Trudeau said: “We have begun negotiations with the United States (US), which will allow US citizens who have received both doses of the COVID-19 vaccine to enter Canada from mid-August. Moreover, the Canadian permanent residents or non-permanent residents will also be allowed to travel from mid-August.
“If vaccinations and health conditions continue to improve, we will allow passengers from other countries to enter from September,” he explained.

According to a statement from the Canadian Department of Health, 78% of the total population has been vaccinated so far, including children up to 12 years of age. Similarly, 44% of citizens are those who have been given both doses of the vaccine.
