Today is the 22nd death anniversary of Captain Colonel Sher Khan Nishan Haider, who was martyred while defending his beloved homeland on the Kargil front.
A statement issued by the Pakistan Army Public Relations (ISPR) said that the 22nd death anniversary of Captain Colonel Sher Khan Nishan Haider is today, July 5.
Sher Khan, the hero of the Kargil war, made history with his blood. He showed everlasting bravery and courage in the battle of Kargil and sacrificed his life for the protection of his beloved homeland.
According to ISPR, Colonel Sher Khan’s passion for the protection of the motherland was unwavering. A statement from the Pakistan Army’s Public Relations Department said, “We are proud of Captain Colonel Sher Khan Shaheed.”
It may be recalled that last year the anniversary of martyrdom of Captain Colonel Sher Khan Shaheed Nishan Haider was held in Swabi, while the day of martyrdom of Hawaldar Lalak Jan Shaheed was held in his native area of Ghazar.
