Karachi, 19th October: PML-N vice president Maryam Nawaz’s husband Captain (R) Safdar got arrested today from their hotel room in Karachi. According to a report of Baaghi TV, PML-N leader Capt (retd) Safdar was produced in court today. Capt. Safdar was produced before the court in an armoured vehicle under tight security. A four-member team of federal government lawyers reached the court. https://twitter.com/ImranJoiyaPk/status/1318143885181394945?s=20 The lawyers told the court that people were harassed at Mazar-e-Quaid and asked for inclusion of terrorism provisions.  Police will request the court to remand Captain (retd) Safdar, while N-league lawyers will try to stop the police from taking remand. A large number of PML-N workers were also present outside the court on the occasion of Captain Safdar’s appearance. They chanted slogans in favour of PML-N and demanded the release of Captain Safdar. It should be noted that everyone is waiting for the announcement of the next course of action by Maryam Nawaz. Maryam Nawaz had to hold a press conference at 3 o’clock.
