Captain Safdar’s life in danger, big step taken

ISLAMABAD: Captain (R) Safdar, husband of Maryam Nawaz has requested the Interior Ministry to provide foolproof security on Tuesday (today).

According to the details, Captain Safdar’s lawyer Barrister Jahangir Khan Jadoon wrote a letter to the Secretary Interior demanding full proof security for his client.

Capt. (Retd) Muhammad Safdar said that he was a strong supporter of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) and was facing serious security risk due to suspicious FIRs. Safdar also said that he participates in political activities all over Pakistan with his wife Maryam Nawaz.

The petition said that the police, including the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) and the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), were facing a number of politically motivated cases. Barrister Jahangir Khan Jadoon said that Inspector Generals (IGs) of all the four provinces should be directed for the security of Captain Safdar.
