Lahore:Capital City Police Officer Additional IG Ghulam Mahmood Dogar has said that sexual assault and molestation of children and women would not be tolerated at any cost and strict action would be taken against the criminals involved. He has lauded the performance of all the members of Investigation team for speedy action and arresting the involved accused within record time. An award distribution ceremony was held at Capital City Police Headquarters today where the members of investigation team were distributed commendation certificates and cash awards for their excellent performance. CCPO Lahore Ghulam Mahmood Dogar along with SSP Discipline Mubashir Makon distributed appreciation letters and cash awards among the officers. Ghulam Mahmood Dogar gave away appreciation letter to SP Investigation Essa Sukhaira whereas commendation certificates and cash awards were distributed among DSP CIA Javed Siddique, SHO PS Sabza Zar Asad Abbas, In Charge Investigation Chung Inspector Umar Daraz, In charge Investigation Sher Sha Colony Amir Riaz, ASI Ghulam Abbas and Head Constable Mohsin Manzoor. CCPO Lahore said that the Chung gang rape incident was a test case for Lahore Police and by the grace of Allah Almighty and hardwork of the team, Lahore police remained successful to arrest the culprits. The two accused involved in rape assault of a woman and her daughter were arrested by Lahore police within few hours after the crime attempt.
