LAHORE: Capital City Police Officer Additional IG Ghulam Mahmood Dogar, today visited Tehsil Headquarters Hospital Muridke to ask after the health of injured police personnel who were brutally tortured by the violent workers of a proscribed organization during recent clashes between law enforcement agencies and the party activists at GT Road areas. SSP Adm Mubashir Maken, SP City, SP Civil Lines and other related police officers were also present on this occasion. CCPO Lahore prayed for the early recovery of the under treatment police officials. The under treatment police personnel informed CCPO Lahore Ghulam Mahmood Dogar about all the details of the brutal torture by the proscribed party activists. Additional IG Ghulam Mahmood Dogar lauded the services of brave policemen and said at present the morale of Lahore police is very high as they served the country and community with great zeal and passion and remained steadfast in very different situation for the safety of public. He declared such acts of chivalry and courage an excellent example to be followed by other police officers and officials. CCPO Lahore also talked with the heirs of injured personnel and highly acknowledged the services of these policemen for the nation to safeguard the life and property of the citizens and maintain law and order in the city. Ghulam Mahmood Dogar said, mission of Lahore Police is to protect the lives and property of citizens and maintain law and order. Police officers and officials will never spare any stone unturned and always sacrifice their precious lives in fulfilling this sacred mission. Ghulam Mahmood Dogar further said the officers and officials who were martyred and injured due to the violence of defunct organization activists are real heroes of Lahore Police.
