Lahore, 14th September: Lahore CCPO Umar Sheikh has apologized for his statement made during the motorway rape case.
According to the report of Baaghi TV, CCPO Lahore Umar Sheikh has met Punjab Governor Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar today, after which he made his apology to the public.

After meeting with the Governor Punjab, on his advice, CCPO Lahore apologized for his statement. After giving the statement of apology to the media, CCPO Lahore Umar Sheikh reached Lahore High Court.

It is to be noted that CCPO Lahore has been summoned by the Lahore High Court today. Chief Justice Muhammad Qasim Khan while giving remarks said that the entire cabinet should have apologized for the statement of CCPO.
