Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee becomes Colonel-in-Chief of Sindh Regiment

Feb 8, 2022: Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee has been made New Colonel Chief of Sindh Regiment. According to DG ISPR, General Nadeem Raza has been appointed as the second new Colonel-in-Chief of the Sindh Regiment.

The ceremony was held at Sindh Regiment Center Hyderabad. Corps Commander Karachi Lieutenant General Muhammad Saeed and Lieutenant General Sahir Shamshad Mirza presented badges.

According to DG ISPR, the Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee laid a wreath at the martyrs’ memorial and offered prayers and Fateha for the martyrs of the Pakistan army on this occasion. The Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee highlighted the challenges facing the Pakistan Defense Forces and reiterated the need to work with full dedication and determination to overcome these challenges.

According to DG ISPR, General Nadeem Raza urged the officers and men to dedicate all their efforts to further hone their professional skills. He said that a professionally capable soldier always overcomes challenges in any exam with great dignity and grace and advised him to make maximum use of the training opportunities available to him.

A large number of retired officers, JCOs and soldiers of Sindh Regiment were also present on the occasion.
